Buyback Policy

1. Student ID or Drivers License required
2. The bookstore purchases new and used textbooks from students during FINALS WEEK ONLY of each semester.
3. However, we have an agreement with a wholesaler and you can sell your books to them anytime, with the exception of our Buyback Week, by clicking on the SELL button at the top of the main screen or they also are here to purchase books that Parkland is not in need of during posted buyback hours the first 3 days of each term.
4. The Bookstore pays 50% for books in re-saleable condition where needed quantity has not been met.
5. The Wholesaler pays National Market Value for all other books when available.
6. There are many factors involved in the buyback decision; therefore, many books cannot be bought.

BOOKS MAILED TO PARKLAND BOOKSTORE MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE BOOKSTORE NO LATER THAN August 8th, 2013 TO BE SOLD BACK OR TO TURN - IN RENTALS.  Please include your name, address and phone with a note that you are wanting to sell the books for fair market value or if you are Turning - in Rental.  Please allow 4 weeks for a check if selling your books.
